Improved services at Marina Barendrecht

The 30-year old marina located just South of Rotterdam recently renewed their berths. Originally offering low budget facilities to local citizens the marina is now offering high standard facilities including recently installed and very wide pontoons, delivered by Interboat Marinas.

Berth holders and visitors benefit from light, E-power supply, water and an Internet connection standard on each pontoon. The pontoon design gives optimum stability and therefore maximum safety to every guest visiting the marina. Other services are the newly opened restaurant, office and full boat yard services including haul out facilities, boat cleaning, repairs and winter storage.

To upgrade the haul out services, Marina Barendrecht decided to work without a Hoist and bought a new 50T capacity Roodberg Launch- and Recovery Solution. Previously working with a 20T electrically driven Hoist, the marina decided to obtain for a Roodberg Launch- and Recovery Trailer working on a slipway. Arguments in favour of this solution are;

lower investment
faster handling of boats
lesser maintenance costs
saving costs by having no hoist at all
be able to use the existing pavement
